Hi! I’m Jordin - a fine-line tattoo artist in the Bay Area who loves collaborating with clients to turn their vision into a reality. My career began at Morningstar under 30 year tattoo veteran and owner, Adam Sky. I completed a comprehensive two-year apprenticeship and now as a Resident Artist, I continue to grow and evolve working alongside talented tattooers.
Morningstar Tattoo is an appointment-only studio on the San Francisco Peninsula in Belmont offering a personalized and relaxing tattoo experience. Morningstar’s cozy atmosphere fosters genuine, one-on-one connections so that every tattoo is a personalized experience. Whether it’s your first tattoo or you’re adding to a growing collection, I strive to create an experience where you can freely express your ideas without judgment.
Flora and fauna are currently my primary muses, with botanicals holding a special place in my heart. I am fascinated with flowers and enjoy learning about all types of plants and animals. My style is influenced by a mix of my interests in scientific illustration, the practice of botany, history, and the simple joys in life.
I enjoy tailoring each design to fit my clients’ body, personality, and vision. The process begins with a one-on-one consultation where we discuss your ideas and address any concerns to bring your vision to life. I offer advice on placement, size and intricacy of design to achieve the aesthetic you're envisioning. Then the drawing begins! I take pride in researching references and concepts my clients bring me to ensure they are accurate. On the day of your appointment, I reveal your drawing and make any changes necessary before we begin.
As a female tattoo artist, I’m deeply committed to making sure my clients feel comfortable throughout the process. I understand that getting tattooed can be a vulnerable and often emotional experience, and I cherish the trust my clients place in me. I take my work seriously and strive to ensure that all bodies feel welcome in my chair and confidently leave wearing their new tattoo.
From concept to completion, every tattoo I create is crafted with care and intention. I believe in preserving the uniqueness of my art, which is why I never duplicate custom tattoos or sell these designs to others. While many of the projects I take on are custom, I do have a collection of original pre-drawn designs available on my website available to book that I continuously update.
